This is the logical next step, tbh
“30 Something Grandma”
30 Something Grandma, which is slated for a November 15th premiere, is a new twist on the Teen Mom phenomenon. This three episode (so far) docu-series, will follow young grandmothers and their pregnant teenagers to examine the cycle of teen pregnancy within families. Unlike similar shows, it will focus more on the parents of those about to be teenage mothers, than the pregnant teens themselves.
Prudence, Patricia, and Chantel
So far, we know that 30 Something Grandma will focus on three women, Prudence, Patricia, and Chantel, and the toll that young motherhood and pending “grandmother-hood” has taken on their lives. According to Lifetime, “the series will reveal the challenges for the two generations as they try to balance their relationships, career goals and personal dreams.”
The other show, which is set to premiere in December of this year, will follow women who get pregnant after one-night stands and is aptly titled, Knocked Up. The series—which is also in anthology format, as far as I can tell—will follow Akiitha, Katie and Audra, as they navigate their new responsibilities and the lifestyle changes that come along with them.
