Politicians Aren’t the Only Ones That Flip Flop
There were a ton of rappers and people in the hip-hop community that were outspoken about their distaste and even hatred of President-elect Donald Trump. I mean, who wouldn’t when he won by harboring hate speech resulting in black people being assaulted for no reason with The Donald encouraging it by saying he’d pay the offender’s legal bills. Trump said something along the line of, “We used to treat them much worse in the good old days.” Like are you f***ing serious?! That’s something your racist grandmother would say; you have to apologize over and over to everyone at Walmart for her 1950s terminology.
Everyone knows about how opposed the hip-hop community was to Trump’s campaign and then his gut-wrenching election. Amidst all this police violence and biased sentences that are unfortunately popping up every week, the fact that the politician spewing race hate got elected says a lot about our country, and it’s frankly embarrassing.
